Compensation wires and cables for thermocouples

Compensation wires and compensation cables are one or more pairs of wires or cables with insulation layers that have the same thermoelectric potential value as the matched thermocouple within a certain temperature range (including room temperature). They are used to connect thermocouples and measuring devices to compensate for errors caused by temperature changes at their connection points. Compensation wires and compensation cables are divided into two types: extension type and compensation type.

Conditions of Use

1. Working temperature:
Heat resistant: up to 200 ℃ and 260 ℃;
Generally used: up to 70 ℃ and 105 ℃;
2. Minimum ambient temperature:
Fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed cables: fixed installation -60 ℃, non fixed installation -20 ℃;
Polyvinyl chloride insulated and sheathed cables: fixed installation at -40 ℃, non fixed installation at -15 ℃;
3. Allowable bending radius:
PVC insulated and sheathed non armored cables shall not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable;
Fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed non armored cables shall not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable;
Armored cables shall not be less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.
