Overview
The puncture test is used to obtain the internal texture of the sample, which is the most intuitive evaluation of product characteristics. It is applicable to lipstick, eye shadow, lipstick, etc. The hardness, brittleness, firmness and other parameters can be measured. Besides determining lipstick Hardness, this test may also indicate the presence of unwanted trapped air bubbles, or a 'grainy' texture as a result of either incomplete colorant dispersion or the working and chilling processes during manufacture.
