Washing wastewater, mainly composed of soap, oil, synthetic detergents, cleaning agents, as well as a small amount of harmful substances such as bacteria, coliforms, viruses, etc., has become an important source of water pollution. After washing wastewater is discharged into water bodies, it consumes dissolved oxygen and has slight toxicity to aquatic organisms, which can cause fish deformities. The phosphate solvents contained in it can cause eutrophication of the water body. The concentration of organic matter in washing wastewater varies greatly, with high turbidity and a BOD/COD ratio of around 0.45, indicating good biodegradability. The effective ingredients of detergent are surfactants and detergents, in addition to various auxiliary ingredients such as bleach. Surfactants can be classified into three types based on their molecular configuration and functional groups: cationic, anionic, and nonionic.
