1. Two LED light sources emit two types of light, one is red light (peak wavelength 650nm) and the other is infrared light (940nm). The two types of light penetrate the blades and hit the receiver. The light signal is converted into an analog signal, which is amplified by an amplifier and converted into a digital signal by an analog/digital converter. The digital signal is processed by a microprocessor to calculate the SPAD value and displayed on the screen.

(3) The values of steps 1 and 2 are used to calculate the SPAD measurement value, which represents the current relative chlorophyll content of the clamped sample leaves.

Fault handling
If the calibration cannot pass normally, clean the measuring area with alcohol. If it still does not work, please charge the instrument for 1 hour and try again. If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please contact our after-sales customer service in a timely manner.
2. If the calibration passes but the measurement results deviate significantly each time, check the battery level first. When the battery level is fine, turn off the device for 5 minutes and then restart the device for calibration before proceeding with the measurement.
