Product Details
Calcmet gas analyzer is a multi-component gas analysis instrument based on Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) technology, widely used in various fields such as environmental monitoring, industrial process control, scientific research experiments, emission detection, and emergency response. Its core advantage lies in the ability to simultaneously, continuously, and in real-time detect multiple gas components, with high sensitivity, high selectivity, and a wide detection range.
working principle
The core technology of Calcmet gas analyzer is Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The basic principle is that each gas molecule has absorption characteristics for specific wavelengths of infrared light, forming a "fingerprint spectrum". The instrument emits broad-spectrum infrared light through an infrared light source. After passing through the gas sample, the beam is modulated by an interferometer and split into two beams by a beam splitter to produce an interference pattern, which is then received by a detector. By using Fourier mathematical transformation, the interferogram is converted into a spectrogram to identify the type of gas and calculate its concentration based on its absorption intensity.
Compared with traditional single point or a few gas detection technologies (such as electrochemical sensors, NDIR, etc.), FTIR technology does not require dedicated sensors for each gas, and can analyze dozens or even hundreds of gases in one measurement, greatly improving detection efficiency and flexibility.
Calcmet gas analyzerMain features and advantages
Simultaneous detection of multiple components: Calcmet analyzer can simultaneously detect up to 50 gas components, including common SO ₂, NO, NO ₂, CO, CO ₂, NH3, CH ₄, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), as well as toxic and harmful gases such as HCl, HF, H ₂ S, suitable for the analysis of complex gas mixtures.
High sensitivity and wide range: The detection limit can reach ppb (parts per billion) level, while supporting wide range measurement from ppm (parts per million) to percentage concentration, suitable for various application scenarios from environmental air quality monitoring to industrial high concentration emissions.
Non destructive measurement: FTIR technology is an optical measurement method that does not consume sample gas. The gas can be recovered or reused for other analyses after measurement, making it suitable for the detection of precious or hazardous gases.
Fast response and real-time monitoring: The measurement cycle is short, usually completing a full spectrum scan within a few seconds to tens of seconds, achieving real-time dynamic monitoring of gas concentration changes.
Easy maintenance and low operating costs: Due to the use of optical principles, there are no consumable sensors, reducing the need for frequent calibration and component replacement, resulting in good long-term stability.
Modular design and flexible configuration: Different models (such as portable, online, explosion-proof, etc.) can be selected according to application requirements, and remote data transmission and automation control are supported, making it easy to integrate into existing monitoring systems.
Application field
Environmental monitoring: used for monitoring urban air quality stations, industrial park boundaries, and monitoring odorous gases in landfills.
Industrial process control: used in industries such as chemical, metallurgical, and energy to optimize combustion efficiency, monitor process gas composition, and detect leaks.
Emission testing: meets environmental regulations and is used for monitoring the compliance of emissions from fixed sources (such as chimneys) and mobile sources.
Research and Education: Support atmospheric chemistry, pollution mechanism research, and laboratory gas analysis.
Emergency response: Portable Calcmet devices can quickly identify unknown gases at accident sites, ensuring personnel safety.
In summary, Calcmet gas analyzer, with its advanced FTIR technology and performance, has become an important tool in the field of modern gas analysis, providing strong technical support for environmental protection, safety production, and scientific research.
