Application Case 1: Deep Coal Exploration - A Certain Location in Hebei Province

In a certain area of Hebei Province, we want to explore whether there are coal seams on the underground Ordovician limestone, so we chose the CUGTEM-4 deep resource exploration transient electromagnetic instrument that can be used for deep exploration to search for coal. The TEM cross-section diagram of the exploration results shows significant anomalies between 550 meters and 650 meters. After drilling by the mining party, it was confirmed that coal seams were found at 600 meters and 750 meters, which is very consistent with the exploration results.

Application Case 2: Searching for Deep Lead Zinc Mines - A Mine in Southwest China

In a mining area in southwest China, the surface of the work area is covered with about 500 meters of limestone. The CUGTEM-4 deep resource exploration type transient electromagnetic instrument was used to explore the deep lead-zinc mine. Comparison work was carried out using 200 meter x 200 meter and 25 meter x 25 meter coils, respectively. The exploration results showed that the 25 meter x 25 meter coil work was effective and the geological results were significant, indicating that the ore body was located 700 meters underground. The mining company is very satisfied with the working method of my small coil, which not only greatly facilitates field construction, but also greatly improves construction efficiency.

Application Case 1: Exploration of Mining Collapse Situation——Hebei Province

There were many small coal mines in the vicinity of a coal mine in Hebei Province. Due to the disorderly production of small coal mines, large-scale cracks appeared on the working face of the mine. The purpose of conducting surveys within the working face is to analyze and interpret the accurate locations of faults and goafs within the working face, in order to avoid mining accidents and ensure safe production. The survey used transient electromagnetic instruments to set up a total of 6 measuring points with a profile length of 80 meters. Exploration data inversion shows that at 70There are obvious anomalies in the apparent resistivity contour lines of coal bearing strata between 130M, and the collapse electrical characteristics are very obvious; Between points 50 and 80, the depth is 230At 260 meters, the characteristics of the goaf are abnormally obvious. After drilling, it was verified that the collapsed area was at a depth of 97 meters and the goaf was buried at a depth of 250 meters. The exploration results were very consistent with the actual situation and received high praise from the mining party.
