The cooling part is mainly completed by burr condensation tube water cooling and fan air cooling. The upper part of the condensation tube is spherical with 2 bubbles for better cooling effect. The catalyst is added here to prevent the instantaneous volatilization of light components in the sample and can be covered with a volatilization cap. The lower part is in the shape of a 'burr', with two opposing 'cold bubbles' extending from the wall of the condenser tube on a flat surface, which increases the cooling area and blocks the passage of volatile substances and vapors compared to a simple spherical condenser tube. In addition, the dual effect of cooling water and internal fan in the upper spherical reflux tube ensures the reflux cooling of the sample. The JQ-101X standard COD digestion device uses an inserted burr reflux tube, which is safer and more stable to use.
