The CHI760F series and CHI700F series are universal double potentiometers that can simultaneously control the potential of two working electrodes in the same electrolytic cell. Their typical application is the rotating ring disk electrode, and they can also be used in other situations where dual working electrodes are required. Dual potentiometers can only be used for potential control and current measurement of two working electrodes in the same solution, rather than two independent potentiometers.

CHI760F series double potentiostatIt is a universal dual potentiostat that can simultaneously control the potential of two working electrodes in the same electrolytic cell. Its typical application is the rotating ring disk electrode, and it can also be used in other situations where dual working electrodes are required. Dual potentiometers can only be used for potential control and current measurement of two working electrodes in the same solution, rather than two independent potentiometers. The instrument contains a fast digital signal generator, a direct digital signal synthesizer for high-frequency AC impedance measurement, a dual channel high-speed data acquisition system, a potential current signal filter, multi-stage signal gain, iR drop compensation circuit, a dual potentiostat, and a constant current meter (CHI760F). The potential range of both channels is+/-10V. The current range (sum of two channel currents) is ± 250mA.

The CHI700F series adds a circuit board based on the CHI600F, which includes a second channel potential control circuit, current voltage converter, sensitivity selection, three gain stages, and a second-order low-pass filter with eight orders of magnitude variable frequency range. CHI700F can control the potential of two working electrodes, allowing for the measurement of dual working electrodes using experimental techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, step wave voltammetry, chronoamperometry, differential pulse voltammetry, conventional pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry, and time current curve. When used as a dual potentiostat for measurement, the potential of the second working electrode can be maintained at an independent constant value, or it can be scanned or stepped synchronously with the first working electrode. In cyclic voltammetry, it is also possible to scan while maintaining a constant potential difference with the first working electrode. The CHI700F series is also a very fast instrument. The update rate of the signal generator is 10MHz, and two synchronous 16 bit high-resolution and low-noise analog-to-digital converters are used for data acquisition. The maximum rate for dual channel simultaneous sampling is 2.5MHz. When the scanning speed of cyclic voltammetry is 1000V/s, the potential increment is only 0.1mV. When the scanning speed is 5000V/s, the potential increment is 1mV. For example, the measurement frequency of AC impedance can reach 3MHz, and the frequency of AC voltammetry can reach 10KHz. The instrument also has an external signal input channel, which can record both electrochemical signals and external input voltage signals, such as spectral signals. This is extremely convenient for experiments such as spectroscopic electrochemistry.

CHI700F not only allows the potential of the second working electrode to be independently controlled at a constant potential, but also allows the potential of the second working electrode to be scanned or stepped synchronously with the first working electrode. During dual channel synchronous scanning, the maximum scanning speed can reach 10000 V/s. When using a dual channel synchronous step, the minimum sampling interval can reach 0.4 microseconds. As the CHI700F series is an extension of the CHI600F series, the former fully covers the latter's functions and has more testing capabilities. The CHI700F series also allows for a four electrode system for electrochemical measurements at liquid/liquid interfaces.

The 700F series is an iterative upgrade product of the 700E series. After the upgrade, it has a faster data acquisition speed and uses a dual channel synchronous ADC with 16 bit resolution and 2.5MHz. Previously, the dual channel synchronous ADC was 1MHz.

CV testing supports a sampling interval of 1mV at a scanning speed of 2500V/s. Previously, the sampling interval was 1mV at a scanning speed of 1000V/s.

The minimum sampling interval for CA has been reduced from 1 microsecond to 0.4 microsecond, with dual channel synchronization.

The new model will have faster data transfer speed under the USB 3.0 interface. The scanning speed of real-time data transmission for CV has been increased from 3V/s to 12V/s. The real-time data transmission interval of i-t and CA technology has been reduced from 0.0003333 seconds to 0.0001 seconds.

The frequency of AC impedance is increased to 3MHz.

We have added current interruption iR compensation, constant current intermittent titration technology (GITT), and constant potential intermittent titration technology (PITT).

When the CHI700F series is used as a single potentiostat, its performance is the same as that of the CHI600F series. If connected to CHI200B microcurrent amplifier and shielding box, the first channel can measure a current of 1pA or lower. CHI700F can also be connected to CHI680D high current amplifier to obtain larger current and slot voltage, but it can only be used for single channel measurement.

CHI760F series double potentiostatIn order to meet different application needs and funding conditions, the CHI700F series is divided into multiple models. Different models have different electrochemical measurement techniques and functions, but the basic hardware parameter indicators and software performance are the same. CHI700F and CHI710F are basic types, CHI720F and CHI730F are comprehensive electrochemical analyzers, while CHI750F and CHI760F are more advanced electrochemical workstations.
