Product Description: Biotin-PEG3-azide is an uncut azide activating Biotin reagent that generates stable triazole bonds through copper catalyzed click reactions with terminal alkynes. It also reacts with cyclooctyne through copper free "click chemistry" to form stable triazoles, without the need for copper catalysts or high temperatures. This reaction is biologically orthogonal, or in other words, it is compatible with biological systems because its components do not react with the biological environment. This reagent is also known as azide Biotin.
