The electric discharge wire cutting machine uses electrode wires (molybdenum wire, tungsten molybdenum wire) as tool electrodes and working fluid as the medium. Under the action of high-frequency pulse power supply, spark discharge is formed between the tool electrode and the workpiece, and the discharge channel instantly generates high temperature, causing the surface of the workpiece to melt or even vaporize.
