Working principle


Using nitrogen as the conductive heat transfer medium, it realizes the drying production and recovery of organic solvents and solvent materials in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biology, etc., with practicality of safe production, high efficiency, low consumption, energy saving and emission reduction.


The gas inside the dryer is circulated by the fan (both for induced draft and supply air), heated by the heat exchanger, filtered by the high-efficiency filter, and enters the boiling heating and drying material. The hot air passes through the material while being continuously stirred by the internal stirring mechanism to fully contact and exchange heat with the hot air. After the solvent (alcohol, acetone, methanol, etc.) in the material evaporates, the fine powder material carried in the gas is driven by the circulating gas and then blown back into the dust collector with nitrogen to capture the dust material carried in the gas. The waste heat gas is filtered through the filter and enters the condenser, where it is cooled by the condenser cooling medium and condensed to the dew point and separated from the gas, achieving the recovery of organic solvents. The separated gas is then fed into the heater by a fan, and this cycle repeats itself. Until all solvents are evaporated, separated, and condensed from the material.



After drying, the material is cooled and discharged from the bottom. The mesh plate used to hold the material is a movable flap controlled by a cylinder. After the material discharge is completed, a fan can be used to clean and filter the filter in the drying room.


Characteristics and advantages of the equipment

1. Efficient
The equipment is a fully enclosed structure with no dead corners. Both the outlet and inlet air are filtered with high temperature and efficiency. The entire system adopts three-stage dust removal, which has higher dust removal efficiency and is easy to disassemble and clean. After the material is dried, using reverse blowing technology can achieve more thorough dust removal, reduce cleaning frequency, simplify operation, effectively reduce labor intensity, and avoid product contamination, which meets GMP requirements.

The equipment can operate continuously and stably for a long time, with a high degree of automation. It can dry and cool both solvents and materials, with a higher drying efficiency than rotary and rake types, which can increase the drying speed by 4-5 times. At the same time, the quality of the dried product is stable, creating greater product value for users.

According to customer needs, vacuum feeding and discharging can be equipped to improve integrated intelligent operation.



2. Safety

Based on the explosive and flammable safety hazards of organic solvents, this unit system adopts online oxygen measurement, overpressure relief, explosion prevention, and other safety technology measures. Through intelligent control technology, the monitoring of residual oxygen in the system, pressure balance monitoring, and automatic adjustment control are achieved. When the air (oxygen) content in the system exceeds 0.5% (v/v), the oxygen measuring device will command the nitrogen replenishment valve to open through the control system, replenishing fresh nitrogen into the system to restore the residual oxygen level to the safe set value range (the closed-loop system is designed for positive pressure, and oxygen enters the circulation system through the feeding process). When the pressure value in the system exceeds the set value (the pressure balance value of the circulation system is set to 0.02mPa), the pressure relief device will automatically open the pressure relief pneumatic valve through the intelligent control center command to eliminate the overpressure gas. The explosion-proof explosion relief device is another safety technical measure adopted by this unit, which means that if there is a fault in the electrical or critical parts of the system, the normal operation of the system will fail, and the pressure will rise to the safety limit value (the designed pressure resistance value of the system is less than or equal to 0.05Mpa), the explosion-proof explosion relief device will automatically open the directional explosion and automatically cut off the power supply, close the inlet and outlet pipeline valves, ensure that the solvent does not have the possibility of reacting with oxygen, effectively avoiding fire or explosion accidents in the production process of the equipment, and avoiding personnel to the greatest extent possible. 3. Energy saving

The equipment is a fully enclosed system, where the heat medium is blown upwards through a mesh plate to enhance the contact between the material and the heat and mass transfer process. It can achieve a high gas moisture content at a small air volume, so only a slight positive pressure is required during operation. The air volume is small, and the fan power of the equipment is reduced, resulting in less noise. At the same time, the hot and humid gases containing solvents after drying can be separated by a condenser, and the recovered solvents can be reused. At the same time, the low dew point nitrogen enters the heater through a circulating fan for reheating and recycling. Compared with conventional drying equipment, the thermal efficiency is improved, and the power consumption is significantly reduced, thus saving energy loss and production costs of the equipment.


4. Environmental Protection

This unit realizes the recycling and utilization of solvent containing materials in the drying production process. On the basis of solving the difficulties in drying and heavy pollution caused by exhaust gas emissions in related industries, it achieves solvent recycling and utilization while achieving zero emissions, avoiding environmental pollution caused by exhaust gas and achieving practical energy-saving and emission reduction effects.
