For applications that require a measurement range of 1.7 μ m in near-infrared, Avantes offers a new non cooled spectrometer AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-EVO, which uses a high-sensitivity optical platform and circuit board. Both spectrometers have excellent performance parameters, such as a sampling speed of up to 0.53 ms and integration time as short as 10 or 20 μ s. For applications that require high resolution or require more data points for modeling, a 512 pixel detector will be your better choice.
The AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-EVO spectrometer will continue to use InGaAs array detection and ultra-low noise circuit boards with USB3 and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The digital and analog I/O interfaces of the spectrometer can achieve external triggering of the spectrometer and control of the pulse light source and shutter, and two different gain modes can be selected through software, namely high sensitivity mode (HS, default) and low noise (LN) mode. This economical non cooled spectrometer is powered by USB and comes with four types of gratings to choose from, with replaceable slits to meet your application needs.
