Simply calibrate the spectrometer: AvaLight HAL CAL Mini and AvaLight DH-CAL are calibration light sources based on NIST traceability, used to calibrate the absolute intensity of spectra. AvaLight HAL CAL Mini is a compact and affordable light source It calibrates within the visible light range (350-1095 nm). You can also order an extended near-infrared spectral range (1100-2500nm). It has a built-in cosine corrector with SMA adapter and comes with calibration files in ASCII format. Calibration can be completed using AvaSoft software.
AvaLight HAL-CAL-ISPxx Mini is a special version of AvaLight HAL-CAL Mini that can couple various AvaSphere xx IRRAD integrating spheres from Avantes to a light source (xx=30,50 or 80mm inner diameter) for calibration. This light source provides a special base plate to secure AvaSphere. Avalight HAL-CAL Mini and Avalight HAL-CAL ISPxx Mini (including power supply).
AvaLight-DH-CAL

For calibration in the UV and visible light range (200-1099 nm), the AvaLight DH-CAL light source can be used with all AvaSpec spectrometers to calibrate absolute spectral intensity. It is equipped with a built-in diffuser, cosine corrector with SMA adapter (CC-VIS/NIR), and CD-ROM containing ASCII format calibration files.
Includes two calibration files: one for irradiance calibration in the full range (200-1099 nm), and the other for radiation calibration in the visible and near-infrared ranges (350-1099 nm). For the first file, deuterium lamps and halogen bulbs should be used for calibration. The second file can only be used for halogen lamps. Only the spectrum of halogen tungsten lamps provides smoother blackbody calibration spectra for longer wavelengths.
Avantes offers AvaLight-DH-BAL-CAL, which is a suitable choice for calibration only in the ultraviolet range (200-400 nm) to achieve a more balanced spectrum in the 200-1100 nm range.
The calibration file can be imported into the AvaSoft IRRAD application software for intensity calibration, thereby converting the spectrometer into a spectrophotometer.
AvaLight DH CAL ISPxx is a special version of these calibrated light sources designed to couple the AvaSphere xx IRRAD integrating sphere with the light source. (xx is an inner diameter of 30,50 or 80mm). AvaLight DH-CAL, AvaLight DH-BAL-CAL, and AvaLight D-BAL-CAL all come with a set of power supplies.
