Overview
AvaLight-DH-S is a high-power deuterium halogen combination light source, but like any non-equilibrium deuterium halogen light source, it also exhibits a very strong alpha peak at 656nm. This is why Avantes developed the AvaLight-DH-S-BAL balanced deuterium halogen light source, which greatly reduces the intensity at 656nm using a dichroic filter.
