Overview
The automatic oxidation sampling device for carbon in water is used to extract radioactive carbon-14 from water samples, including carbon-14 present in inorganic or organic form in water. Inorganic carbon is treated by gas displacement method, while organic carbon is treated by wet oxidation method. Adopting a fully automated design, the entire process of sample addition, reagent addition, and sample preparation can be completed with just one click. The measurement principle complies with HJ1056-2019 "Analysis Method for 14C in Liquid Outflow of Nuclear Power Plants - Wet Oxidation Method".

2. Structural Design

2.1. The automatic oxidation sampling device for carbon in water adopts stainless steel 304 integrated welding process, with an inner cavity volume of ≥ 162L, which is sturdy and reliable; Coating the inner cavity with PTFE anti-corrosion coating;

2.2. The equipment door adopts a λ/4 high impedance microwave anti current suppression structure to ensure the health and safety of operators. The microwave leakage rate is less than 5mW/cm2 (better than the national standard);

3. Disposal system

3.1 Reaction vessel: 30L multi necked flask system, supporting liquid addition, nitrogen purging, stirring, condensation reflux, and temperature measurement functions;

3.2. Reagent addition: Using a metering pump to automatically add multiple different reagents

3.3 Atmosphere: Nitrogen purging system;

3.4 Drying: Two stage series connection method to avoid the influence of water vapor on later testing;

3.5 Mixing: The mixing speed can be adjusted
