The Australian Philmac steam trap is designed to accommodate both hot and cold water applications, and with a range of materials (plastic, copper, and stainless steel), the float is compatible with the Philmac float valve series.

Australian Philmac steam trap valveThere are plastic and metal materials available: the advantages of plastic materials are corrosion resistance and light weight. By using plastic blow molding technology, the float is lightweight. The connection to the float valve lever is through a threaded cap, which can be easily replaced if damaged. The series now includes a 9 1/2 "(240) turbine float.

Philmac still offers traditional copper floats because their size is larger than plastic.Up to 10 "(255) diameter, suitable for larger float valves.In addition, there is a complete range to accommodate hot water applications.In addition, there is a 316 stainless steel float to accommodate stainless steel float valves.

Australian Philmac steam trap valveIt is controlled to open or close based on the buoyancy of the magnetic ball in water, and the magnetic ball moves up and down with the increase or decrease of water volume. When the water level reaches the set level, the magnetic ball will press against the corresponding position, so that the water will not flow into the water tank again; When the water volume decreases, the magnetic ball moves downwards and the water automatically flows into the water tank, completing a float switch.

The floating ball floats on the liquid surface according to Archimedes' buoyancy principle. When the liquid level of the container changes, the floating ball also moves up and down. Due to the magnetic effect, the dry spring of the floating ball level gauge is magnetically attracted, and the liquid level position is changed into an electrical signal. The actual position of the liquid is displayed digitally on the display instrument, and the floating ball level gauge achieves remote detection and control of the liquid level.

Material options:
