Product Background:
The human pleural cavity is a closed latent cavity surrounded by visceral pleura and parietal pleura, containing a small amount (approximately5-15 mL）Lubricating fluid, known as pleural fluid. Under normal conditions, this liquid is a clear and transparent exudate, mainly used to lubricate the surface of the pleura and reduce friction between the two layers of pleura during respiratory movement. Normal pleural fluid has the characteristics of low protein content, no or very few cells, and low specific gravity. Its components come from the ultrafiltration effect of pleural capillaries. This product simulates this normal physiological environment and is suitable for related research and testing.
