The working principle of Anwochi solenoid valve is based on the conversion of electromagnetic induction and mechanical motion. The displacement of the valve core is controlled by the on/off of the electromagnetic coil, thereby achieving control over the direction and on/off of fluid flow in pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
Its core structure includes an electromagnetic coil, a static iron core, a moving iron core (i.e. valve core), a reset spring, and a valve body with multiple fluid channels. According to the different driving modes, Anwochi solenoid valves are mainly divided into two categories: direct acting and pilot operated.
The working principle of a direct acting solenoid valve is relatively straightforward. When the electromagnetic coil is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field, and the static iron core is magnetized to produce electromagnetic attraction, directly attracting the moving iron core to overcome the resistance of the reset spring and produce displacement. The movement of the moving iron core drives the sealing element connected to it to leave the valve seat, thereby opening the fluid channel and allowing the medium to flow. When the coil is powered off, the magnetic field disappears and the electromagnetic attraction returns to zero. The elastic force of the reset spring pushes the moving iron core back to its initial position, and the seal re presses the valve seat, cutting off the fluid channel. The characteristic of this structure is that the movement of the valve core is directly driven by electromagnetic force, without relying on the pressure of the fluid itself, so it can work normally under zero pressure difference (including vacuum) conditions. It has fewer internal moving parts and a relatively simple structure.
For pilot operated solenoid valves, their driving logic utilizes the pressure difference of the fluid itself to assist the movement of the main valve core. This type of valve contains a small pilot valve connected to the main valve core inside. In the initial state of power outage in the coil, the pilot valve is closed, and fluid enters the chamber above the main valve core through the bypass hole on the valve core, balancing the pressure on both sides of the main valve core and keeping it closed under the action of spring force. When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic force first attracts the smaller pilot valve core and opens the pilot hole. At this time, the pressure inside the chamber of the main valve core rapidly decreases due to the discharge of fluid, forming a pressure difference with the inlet side. The thrust generated by the high and low pressure difference is sufficient to overcome the gravity and spring force of the main valve core, pushing it away from the valve seat and opening the valve. When the power is cut off, the pilot valve core resets and closes under the action of the spring, the pressure in the upper chamber rises, and the main valve core closes again under the combined action of pressure difference and spring force.
