UV photolysis is one of the methods for exhaust gas treatment using photocatalysis. Photocatalysis uses light to excite a catalyst, separating its electrons and holes for oxidation and reduction of pollutants adsorbed on it. A large number of studies and customer cases have proven that UV photocatalysis has good degradation effects on benzene, toluene, styrene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, ethylene, n-hexane, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, thiols, and other VOCs. It has high reaction efficiency, easy recycling, small device footprint, and easy operation, making it particularly suitable for low concentration exhaust gas treatment.
The high-voltage power supply excites UV ultraviolet light to emit light, producing a high-energy UV beam. The specific wavelength (253.7nm) of ultraviolet light decomposes the molecular chains of odorous gases, breaking down their large molecular structures into small molecular structures. The ultraviolet light in the specific wavelength band (185nm) of the UV beam causes oxygen molecules in the air to produce free oxygen, also known as reactive oxygen species. Due to the imbalance of positive and negative electrons carried by free oxygen, it needs to combine with oxygen molecules to produce ozone. Ozone has extremely strong oxidizing properties and has a strong removal effect on odorous gases. Ultimately, through the superposition of multiple effects, odorous gas molecules are oxidized into inorganic substances such as CO2 and H2O.
characteristic:
1. Modular structure, easy installation and maintenance, small footprint, and convenient operation
