Instrument usage:

SC-900American digital soil compaction meterUsed for measuring soil compaction in the field. It can display PSI or kPa values, reflecting the compactness of the soil, and can be connected to GPS. Tight soil prevents water infiltration, reduces fertilizer utilization, affects plant root growth, and can even reduce crop yields. This instrument is of great significance in guiding agricultural tillage, fertilization, and plant cultivation.

technical principle

When pressure is applied to the system, the probe comes into contact with the soil and senses the pressure. The system collects the pressure signal and converts it into soil compaction, which is the pressure value, through the built-in calibration curve. The built-in collector can store data and download it to the computer through the RS232 standard interface.
