The sample was tested using an L-shaped stainless steel wire probe placed vertically in a glass beaker for 30 minutes. After the functional groups are fully prepared, place the beaker on the testing platform of the texture analyzer. The wire of the probe hooks onto the force arm of the texture analyzer and is pulled vertically upwards at a speed of 5mm/s. The force required by pulling upward is recorded as gel strength. The manufacturer of the physical property tester (physical property analyzer, texture analyzer) can accurately and repeatedly quantify the characteristics of alginate gel for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. |
