The occurrence of these dust deposits can cause equipment and pipeline lines to fail, resulting in reduced production, increased energy and material consumption, and other adverse conditions in the equipment system. When dust corrosion is particularly severe, it can also cause the process to be suspended, forcing the equipment system to shut down, directly causing various economic losses, and even potentially leading to malignant production incidents.
In today's world of scientific development, it is impossible to completely avoid the occurrence of dust and dirt. Therefore, the cleaning of equipment such as air heat exchangers has become an essential part of industrial production, especially in petrochemical and thermal power plants. Two methods are commonly used for occupational cleaning of air heat exchangers: chemical cleaning and high-pressure water jet cleaning. However, for a long time, traditional cleaning techniques and treatment methods such as mechanical methods (scraping, brushing), high-pressure water, chemical cleaning (acid washing), scale inhibition, etc. have caused severe damage to the equipment itself, human body, and environment without effectively solving the problem.
The main effects or intentions of equipment cleaning are as follows:
1. Maintain normal production
In the process of industrial production, sometimes unexpected situations may occur due to improper operation, resulting in scaling and blockage of individual equipment or some pipeline lines, which affects the normal operation of production. Regarding the current situation, the main task is to quickly remove dust and dirt to ensure that the production equipment can work properly and maintain normal production status.
2. Improve equipment production power
For example, in chemical equipment where scaling forms and heat exchangers reduce the heat transfer coefficient, the reduction of pipeline flow area may increase flow resistance, increase energy and material consumption, and significantly reduce production power. At this point, cleaning and descaling are carried out to increase the production power of the equipment.
3. Reducing production incidents is beneficial to human health.
Cleaning up dust and dirt can reduce various incidents caused by production technology and equipment factors, as well as damage to the environment and human health. Cleaning, sterilization, disinfection, and removal of radioactive contamination are beneficial to human health.
