Agilent chromatography columnThe column particle size is 2.7 μ m, consisting of a solid core with a diameter of 1.7 μ m and a porous outer layer with a thickness of 0.5 μ m. This small particle size filler has a high column efficiency similar to sub 2 micron columns, but with a column backpressure of 40-50%. This high column efficiency and high separation chromatography column can be used for any type of liquid chromatography. The porous layer and solid core limit the diffusion distance and increase the separation speed, while the narrow particle size distribution improves the column efficiency and separation degree. This column supports high pressure and can be connected in series with multiple columns to achieve the highest separation degree and column efficiency. The Poroshell 300 column adopts the same principle and is highly suitable for rapid and high-resolution separation of biomolecules.
