The HJ-2 aflatoxin detector adopts thin-layer chromatography method. After extraction, concentration, and thin-layer separation of aflatoxin B1 in the sample, it produces purple fluorescence under 365nm ultraviolet light. The content is determined based on the lowest detectable amount of fluorescence displayed on the thin-layer.
