Scope of application/intended use

This product is suitable for routine clinical CT examinations, supports coronary CT angiography and spectral imaging, and can provide image data for radiation therapy planning.


Core technical features

A. Wide body detector technology

The Revolution CT Power adopts a wide body detector design (usually 8cm or wider, depending on the specific configuration, the Revolution series uses a 16cm Everest detector, and the Power version usually has high-performance wide body coverage).


Advantage: It can cover a wider anatomical range, which means that the time required for heart or whole organ scans is shorter, and even achieve a single heartbeat freezing of the heart.

B. Spectral imaging

This is a major highlight of the GE Revolution series. This device has a spectral scanning mode and is capable of separating substances such as water, iodine, and calcium.


Clinical value:

Remove metal artifacts: effectively eliminate radial artifacts generated by metal implants (such as teeth, pacemakers, orthopedic nails), and improve image quality.

Gout stone detection: It can directly identify uric acid crystals and assist in the diagnosis of gout.

Qualitative analysis of tumors: By analyzing energy spectrum curves, help distinguish the nature of tumors.

C. Low dose technology (ASiR-V or Recon DL)

The device is equipped with iterative reconstruction techniques such as ASiR-V or deep learning image reconstruction technology.


Advantages: While ensuring image quality (low noise, high definition), it significantly reduces the radiation dose during the scanning process, making it particularly suitable for scenarios such as pediatric examinations and lung cancer screening that require frequent follow-up.

D. High definition and low KV scanning

Revolution CT Power supports low kV scanning technology, combined with high-definition imaging algorithms.


Advantage: In vascular angiography (CTA) examination, clearer vascular images can be obtained with less contrast agent, reducing potential burden on the kidneys.
