Overview

Engineers must detect high-frequency signals while maintaining high signal integrity. A typical passive probe has high input resistance R and capacitance C, which provides good response at low frequencies, but can cause inappropriate load effects on the circuit and lead to signal distortion at high frequencies. Active voltage probes have high input impedance R and low input capacitance C, which can reduce the load effect on the circuit within the entire probe/oscilloscope bandwidth range. Due to its low load effect characteristics, active voltage probes have become very commonly used probes for detecting signals and connection points in various applications.

The ZS series probes provide high impedance and a range of expandable probe front ends and grounding attachments to adapt to detection in various complex situations. The 1M ohm high input impedance and 0.9pf low input capacitance mean that this probe is an ideal choice for all frequency ranges in which it operates. The ZS series probe provides a system bandwidth that matches all Like 4GHz and below bandwidth oscilloscopes.
