The structural characteristics of the AWM horizontal mixing ball mill are: it has a hollow cylinder that is horizontally placed and rotates around a horizontal axis with an internal mixing shaft. The cylinder is filled with grinding medium and the ground material. When the cylinder rotates, the medium and material are lifted and fall under the action of gravity after reaching a certain height. The central mixing shaft rotates at high speed in the opposite direction to the outer cylinder, increasing the driving force of the medium movement and causing the material to be quickly crushed by compression, friction, impact, abrasion, shearing, and other effects.
Both the mixing shaft and the outer cylinder are equipped with water cooling devices to better ensure the normal operation of the equipment and the temperature of the materials.
The AWM horizontal mixing ball mill is very mature in both structure and process configuration; Simple and convenient operation, reliable work, easy cleaning, strong adaptability to working conditions, can be used for dry, wet or lubricating grinding, and can be used for coarse, fine or ultrafine grinding. The product particle size range is from 5mm to 1um, and can handle materials of various hardness.
This machine can be equipped with lining materials such as nylon, tetrafluoroethylene, polyurethane, stainless steel, alumina, zirconia, manganese steel, etc. It is also equipped with a dual frequency converter speed control mechanism to better control the speed of the outer cylinder and mixing shaft, so as to achieve high-quality ball milling effects for materials with different densities.
