AMC-5000A aluminum shell bus ductMainly made of aluminum alloy material. This material has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, which can effectively reduce electrical energy loss. The low density of aluminum alloy makes the aluminum shell bus duct relatively lightweight, making it easy to install and transport. Aluminum alloy has high strength and can withstand certain mechanical stresses, ensuring safe use under various environmental conditions. The surface treatment process of aluminum shells is also very important, and common treatment methods include anodizing and spraying, which not only improve the appearance but also enhance the corrosion resistance.
Structural design:
The structural design of aluminum shell bus ducts usually follows certain standards to ensure their functionality in the power system. The design of the casing needs to consider heat dissipation performance, mechanical strength, and electrical insulation. Heat dissipation performance refers to the ability of the casing to effectively dissipate heat under high load conditions, thereby protecting the internal conductors from overheating. Mechanical strength ensures that the shell will not deform or break when subjected to external forces. Electrical insulation is an important factor in preventing current leakage, and suitable insulation materials and structures should be set up during the design of the casing.
Advantages of aluminum shell bus duct:
Aluminum shell bus ducts have multiple advantages. Firstly, it has low electrical resistivity and conductivity loss, which can reduce energy waste.
Secondly, the aluminum shell busbar trunking adopts a modular design, which is easy and fast to install, and can be freely combined according to actual needs. In addition, aluminum shell bus ducts also have good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and can operate stably for a long time in harsh environmentsthat 's ok.
Overall grounding technology:
The traditional protective earth wire PE line is placed on one side of the bus duct, but this method has electromagnetic induction problems, resulting in fault currents higher than theoretical calculations. By using an aluminum alloy shell as the protective ground wire and tightly surrounding it around the conductive busbar, not only can the reactance be minimized, but it can also ensure that the distance between the three-phase busbar and the protective ground wire is equal and the reactance is consistent. This grounding method performs better than setting up a separate PE bank in the event of short-term or continuous relative ground short circuit faults. Therefore, the International Electrotechnical Commission recommends using a casing as a grounding conductor, integrating the casing with the PE to avoid grounding continuity issues caused by long-term corrosion or poor contact.
In addition, according to Article 7.4 of the mandatory standard GB7251.1 for busbar trunking, the metal components of the complete equipment can effectively ensure the continuity of the protective circuit when the measures can ensure that the circuit has good conductivity and sufficient current carrying capacity. Meanwhile, Table 4 in 7.4.3.1.7 also specifies the cross-sectional area of the protective conductor. If the casing is used as part of a protective circuit, its cross-sectional area must be equivalent to the specified minimum load area in terms of conductivity. Therefore, the overall grounding technology is not only effective, but also worthy of widespread promotion.

AMC-5000A aluminum shell bus ductPrecautions for use:
Aluminum shell bus ducts are known for their durability and sturdiness, but caution should still be exercised during use to ensure safety and performance. During lifting, thick cloth or corrugated paper should be used to pad the stressed area to prevent damage to the busbar trunking. For bus ducts of 2500A and above, it is recommended to clamp them with sturdy wooden boards before hoisting to prevent deformation of the casing.
Before connecting, it is necessary to check whether the contact surface and insulation material are intact, and remove foreign objects such as soil and dust. During the connection process, the insulation resistance should be checked section by section to ensure the safety of the circuit. During installation, it is necessary to strictly follow the layout diagram to ensure that the dimensions of each section, positioning dimensions, reserved section dimensions, and interface section dimensions meet the requirements.
When the project is suspended, the end of the sealed connection should be re wrapped to prevent joint contamination. In high-rise buildings, bus ducts need to be treated with fire barriers to prevent smoke, fire, and heat from spreading to adjacent rooms or floors, and even to prevent water leakage during fire extinguishing.
