The 8 series achieves an economical, adaptable, and scalable solution by utilizing the separation of collection hardware and measurement analysis. By transmitting data from the instrument to the analysis platform via high-speed Ethernet, the downtime of the oscilloscope is limited and the return on investment is maximized.


TSOVu is an advanced software platform that runs independently of the oscilloscope host, capable of real-time processing and post-processing of collected data. TSOVu provides effective analysis of optical signals, including support for complex measurements such as eye diagrams and TDECQ.
Utilizing the compact design and user pluggable modules of the 8 series to optimize testing settings, in order to quickly adapt to changes in workflow and the next generation of technology. The 8 series instruments driven by higher density devices have a smaller appearance, which can significantly reduce the overall production space occupation. The TSO820 sampling oscilloscope host also has a code acquisition function that is 8 times faster than the previous generation product, thereby improving test throughput.


The confidence in device measurement begins with the special hardware platform of the 8 series, which enables accurate, reproducible, and reliable measurements. The 8 series optical interface module, designed with high sensitivity and low noise, is highly suitable for single-mode and multi-mode testing, especially on low-power signals.
