There are strict regulations for purified water equipment in the medical and pharmaceutical industries
Purified water equipment has strict regulations in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, generally preparing purified water according to the national standard GMP certification. The manufacturers of purified water equipment also produce purified water equipment according to the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. The purified water equipment system mainly includes RO+EDI purified water equipment, RO purified water equipment, EDI purified water equipment, reverse osmosis purified water equipment and other purified water equipment. Most purified water preparation systems that use reverse osmosis purified water equipment can fully meet the GMP standards of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, and the purified water output is stable, easy to maintain, and cost-effective.
Zhengzhou Fangquan Water Purification Equipment Co., Ltd., as a professional manufacturer of purified water equipment, adopts the concept of modular design in the design of purified water equipment. Based on industry standards and relevant guidelines such as the Chinese Pharmacopoeia GMP, China SFDA, US FDA, and European EMA, the purified water equipment has the characteristics of independence, modularity, and easy operation, ensuring the continuity, stability, and reliability of its operation. And based on the water quality report and URS provided by the customer, develop a suitable design scheme for purified water equipment and a complete verification system for purified water equipment.
Our company's purified water equipment preparation system mainly includes RO+EDI purified water equipment, RO purified water equipment, EDI purified water equipment, reverse osmosis purified water equipment and other purified water equipment. Most of the purified water preparation systems that use reverse osmosis purified water equipment can fully meet the GMP standards of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, and the purified water output is stable, the system maintenance is convenient, and the cost-effectiveness is high.
Introduction to the functions of purified water production equipment:
1. Automatic backwash multi-media filter
The multi-media filtration tank is filled with quartz sand filter material, which mainly reduces water turbidity and can remove a large amount of bacteria, viruses, organic matter, etc. from the water.
2. Automatic backwash activated carbon filter tank
Activated carbon has a large number of micropores and a huge specific surface area, and has extremely strong physical adsorption capacity. It can effectively adsorb impurities in water, especially organic matter and microorganisms.
3. Automatic recoil and regeneration softening tank
Fill the softening tank with sodium cation exchange resin. Through the ion exchange reaction of resin, the hardness of water is reduced, preventing calcium and magnesium ions from binding with carbonate and sulfate ions and scaling in subsequent water treatment equipment or pipelines.
4. Precision filters
Precision filters, also known as security filters, typically have a filtration accuracy of 5 μ m. Its function is to intercept all substances with a particle size greater than 5 μ m to meet the inlet requirements of reverse osmosis.
5. Reverse osmosis
Reverse osmosis membrane is a semi permeable membrane that only allows water molecules to pass through and not solutes to pass through. In addition to applying the principles of reverse osmosis and reverse osmosis, reverse osmosis technology also utilizes the selective adsorption and screening mechanism of the membrane for organic matter. The pore size of reverse osmosis membranes is mostly less than or equal to 10 × 10-10m, and their separation targets are organic compounds in the ionic range and molecular weight of several hundred in the solution. It can filter out various bacteria, such as one of the smallest bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (3000 × 10-10m), as well as various viruses and heat sources.
6. EDI Ultra Pure Water System
The EDI ultrapure water system is an ion exchange system that uses a mixed resin bed, selective permeable membranes, and chargers to ensure continuous water treatment and resin regeneration. The treatment process is that the raw water first enters the resin section, and when the water passes through the resin, it is stripped of metal charged ions and becomes product water. The resin used in this system can be seen as a conductor, which, under the action of potential energy, forces the captured anions and cations to concentrate through the resin and permeable membrane and escape from the water flow. At the same time, in the resin section, the potential energy of the electric potential electrolyzes water into hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions, allowing the resin to be continuously regenerated without the need for regeneration agents.
7. Sterilization system
A、 Ultraviolet radiation can reduce the rate of new colony formation in the pre-treatment system of water systems, and the 254nm ultraviolet lamp located after ozone can be used for both disinfection and removal of residual ozone.
B、 Circulating reflux to prevent bacterial growth. The pre-treatment system, water production system, and water use system in the purified water production equipment are equipped with circulating water circuits, which are used during holidays or evenings when water is not needed; When the purified water tank is full; When the conductivity of the effluent exceeds the standard, the water in each system should maintain a certain degree of circulation, and if necessary, ultraviolet or ozone/ultraviolet sterilization should be supplemented to prevent bacterial growth.

Characteristics of purified water equipment:
The effluent quality of the purified water equipment meets the standards of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and various regulations in the FDA;
Fully automatic operation of purified water equipment and conditional fully automatic processing programs (such as backwashing, regeneration, acid washing, disinfection programs);
The individual units and pipeline equipment of the purified water equipment meet the requirements of GMP (such as the back-end treatment sterilizer, membrane filter, terminal water tank, and pipeline of the purified water equipment are all made of 316L material, and the pipeline of the pretreatment equipment is made of SUS304/316 material)
