In a quick operation, Optimap3 PSD draws the surface morphology with incredible details, displaying defects and textures. The mapped information is processed into objective surface data, which can be used to effectively control product quality.
Optimap3 PSD features:

Application:
The Optimap3 3D profilometer objectively measures and characterizes many aspects of surface quality, including texture, ripples, and local defects such as orange peel, inclusions, dents, and scratches.
Its larger measurement area (65 x 54mm) and operating speed (less than 10 seconds) provide fast measurements that are more representative than those of profilometers or other optical scanning instruments, and can be reported in traceable SI units or other industry-specific units.
The lateral resolution of Optimap3 3D profilometer is less than 37 microns, which can capture surface defects that are not visible to the human eye.
