Installation and precautions of smoke exhaust valve:
1. Before installing the valve body, check whether the valve frame and operating mechanism are intact, whether the action is flexible, and confirm that all aspects of the valve are normal before installation.
2. Before installing the valve body, attention should be paid to leaving a space around the valve, especially on the side where the valve operating mechanism is located. Generally, a clear space of no less than 350 mm should be left for regular operation experiments and inspections.
3. When installing valves in the ceiling, inspection door holes should be provided below the observation and operation mechanism, with a general size of not less than 450 × 450mm. If conditions are limited, the ceiling access hole can also be reduced to 400 × 400mm.
4. Valves should undergo regular opening and closing action tests before installation or during use after installation. It is recommended to conduct them every six months to one year and keep records. The action experiment includes: whether the electric opening and closing are flexible; Whether the fire damper and smoke exhaust valve are operated by electrical signals or manually, and the output of electrical signals after operation.
5. No other external force shall be applied to the valve. It is advisable to have separate supports and hangers to avoid deformation of the valve under external influence, which may affect its operational function.
6. Electrical circuits and remote control steel cables should use ordinary plastic pipes of Dg20 as protective sleeves. The bending radius of the steel cable sleeve should not be less than 250 mm, and there should generally be no more than 3 bends. The length of the steel cable should generally not exceed 6m. If the length exceeds 6m, additional instructions should be provided when ordering. )When conditions permit, it is generally advisable to use close range control.
