A control method for cooling water temperature of ship diesel engine water pump based on fuzzy feedforward control is proposed, and the selection principle of power based feedforward signal is discussed. The design of feedforward fuzzy controllers for throttle rod displacement and diesel engine water pump exhaust temperature is selected separately.In the case of insufficient backup power supply in the water plant, diesel engine sets are used in combination with generators to replace backup power supply and explore new ways to ensure water and electricity supply. The results indicate that using diesel engine sets combined with generators as a water supply guarantee not only ensures safe production, but also explores a new path for water plants that require backup power sources. The demand for cooling system of diesel engine water pump for tracked vehicles is introduced, and the current status and development of design, matching, control, and component technology of diesel engine water pump cooling system are introduced. Several issues that should be considered in the future research and development of high-power density diesel engine water pump cooling system for tracked armored vehicles are proposed.
