HTBY-II seriesTransformer core grounding current testerIt is specially designed and manufactured for on-site online testing of transformer core grounding current, leakage current, frequency, waveform in power systems. It consists of a host, current clamp, data software, communication lines, etc. Power transformers are the most important electrical equipment in the power system. Once a fault occurs during operation, it will cause serious consequences to the power system. The core of a normally operating transformer is grounded at a single point. If two or more points are grounded simultaneously, a current loop will be formed between the core and the ground, with a maximum current of several tens of amperes, which will cause local overheating or even burning of the core. This instrument can quickly detect latent faults in transformers and is the main tool for ensuring the safe operation and normal maintenance of transformers. Mainly suitable for leakage current testing of iron cores and clamps of electrical equipment such as transformers and reactors in substations and power plants. It can also be used for current and leakage current testing of lines or equipment in fields such as power, communication, meteorology, railways, oil fields, construction, metrology, scientific research and teaching units, and industrial and mining enterprises.
test method
Clamp the live and neutral wires together to measure the leakage current of electrical equipment. (Note 2 pieces)
Clamp the ground wire to measure the leakage current of the grounding wire of the electrical equipment. (Attention should be paid to individual pieces)
Clamp the three-phase and four wire together to test the total leakage current. (Note 4 pieces)
Clamp the main line and measure the current of the main line. (Attention should be paid to individual pieces)
Precautions
During leakage current and current testing, the clamp must be kept fully closed, and the wire should be placed at the center of the clamp as much as possible during the testing process. After the test is completed, pay attention to cleaning the pliers and maintaining the instrument panel; Pay attention to connecting the test line during voltage testing to avoid short circuiting the tested circuit. After the voltage test is completed, the test line should be removed from the tested wire first, and then pulled out of the instrument to avoid electric shock.
