Original Larm encoder IRC125/250KB

Incremental rotary encoder
IRC 120 and 125 series

Due to the continuous high demand for replacement parts for these encoders, we have decided to modernize and upgrade them to enhance their end use performance, especially equipment reliability. The main drawback of the old model is that the electronic component substrate is outdated (up to 20 years ago), so its long-term functionality may no longer be guaranteed. The innovative product uses existing electronic components from the IRC3x5 series, paired with IRC120 and 125 casings, and equipped with LED light sources.

This new series does not offer some other pulse divisions (number of pulses per revolution). For more details, please refer to the following text. The 47R/0.6W resistor needs to be connected to connector pin Z, μ m (bulb power supply) to simulate bulb current. If the evaluation system does not include this feature, there is no need to connect these pins.

IRC12x scanners, valves, and probes

Optoelectronic and magnetic incremental and absolute encoders are designed to measure relative position, length, rotation angle, and number of revolutions, and are mainly used in the field of industrial automation.

LARM a.s. is dedicated to the development, production, sales, and maintenance of IRC/MIRC, ARC/MARC, and MSL types of optoelectronic and magnetic incremental and absolute scanners for measuring relative position, length, rotation angle, and speed, primarily serving the field of industrial automation.

These encoders convert rotational or linear motion into electrical pulses through photoelectric grating scanning or Hall effect of two glass elements (rotor and stator). Its design purpose is to transmit electronic information about the relative position or rotational motion of two mechanical units. Optoelectronic or magnetic scanners are typically used in conjunction with CNC digital display devices, CNC control systems, or frequency converters to control electric actuators or automation technologies. Typical application scenarios include measuring paths, rotation angles, and revolutions in CNC machine tools, induction motors, industrial robots, textile machinery, printing machinery, wood processing machinery, or industrial automation systems. The company can directly provide various non-standard designs or develop new optoelectronic/magnetic encoders according to customer needs.
