The chemical composition of INCOLOY 800/800H/800HT is very similar, so they all have good resistance to corrosion in reducing, oxidizing, and nitriding media, as well as resistance to corrosion in alternating oxidizing and reducing media. They also have high metallurgical stability in long-term high-temperature applications. However, due to the different (Al+Ti) contents of the three materials, the environments in which they are used are different. Specifically, 800 exhibits various properties at minus zero, room temperature, and high temperature of 600 ℃. Due to the content of (Al+Ti) not exceeding 0.7%, 800H has good tensile strength above 600 ℃ and still has good toughness when working for a long time below 700 ℃. 800HT has excellent yield strength above 700 ℃. Suggest selecting materials based on their frequent use environment.
Application areas: heat exchangers, electric heating tubes, heat treatment components, production of acetic acid gypsum, and nuclear industry, etc
