This includes the use of non restrictive Class 9 lithium batteries that fully comply with the requirements for thermal runaway suppression in the DO-227A lithium battery standard. More importantly, DKM590 complies with the performance standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), including MSC.333 (90) and MSC.163 (78), as well as the SAE AS8045A standard.

DKM590 adopts a high-strength black anodized aluminum shell to provide maximum corrosion resistance. In addition, DKM590 has improved omnidirectional output function, which can distribute sound waves more evenly, thereby improving positioning accuracy, which is the most important feature of underwater positioning equipment (ULD).

The size of DKM590 is the same as all 90 day endurance underwater positioning devices of Dukane Seacom, and it adopts a universal installation and maintenance process. This universality provides consistent maintenance practices for underwater positioning equipment across all industries for VDR manufacturers and fleet operators.
