Product Features
Good stability: Polyanion complex, soluble in water, forms a colorless solution, resembling natural viscous polysaccharides
High purity: high purity (98%), sulfur content 17-20%
High cost-effectiveness: can save 1/3 of the cost compared to foreign brands;
High safety: DSS can be degraded by natural ecosystems and is safe and harmless to the environment.
Wide applicability: can be used for disease models such as acute and chronic enteritis, colon cancer, etc; Can be used as a stabilizer for sensitive natural ingredients; Cosmetics research and development, etc
Usage
Usage
Usage (for reference only):
(1) DSS solution preparation (2% DSS solution):
Dissolve 10g DSS in 500mL sterile water (or sterile drinking water) and store in a refrigerator at 4 ℃ before use. It is recommended to prepare and use it immediately.
(2) Modeling of Acute Colitis:
On the first day, weigh and label the mice.
2. Fill the drinking water tank in the mouse cage with DSS solution at a rate of 5mL DSS solution per mouse per day, and add an equal volume of DSS free drinking water to the control mice.
On the third day, empty the remaining DSS drinking water in the cage and refill it with DSS solution every two days.
On the 8th day, empty the remaining DSS drinking water in the cage and replace it with sterile water without DSS.
(3) Modeling of chronic colitis:
1. Follow the steps of acute colitis modeling to step 3.
On the 8th day, empty the remaining DSS solution from the cage and replace it with sterile water without DSS for 14 days.
3. Repeat steps 2-5 of the acute colitis modeling procedure on days 22-26.
On the 29th day, empty the remaining DSS solution from the cage and replace it with sterile water without DSS for 14 days.
5. Repeat steps 2-5 of the acute colitis modeling procedure on days 43-47.
On the 50th day, replace the remaining DSS solution in the cage with sterile water.
