To implement the Management Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products,On March 15, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued the "Catalogue (Batch) for the Management of Hazardous Substances Restricted for Use in Electrical and Electronic Products" and the "Exception List for the Application of Restricted Substances in the Catalogue", which will be officially implemented on March 15, 2019.The content of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in the products included in the catalog should comply with relevant standards such as the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, and be included in the management scope of the qualified assessment system for the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products. Those listed in the "Exception List for Restricted Substance Applications in the Standard Management Catalog" may temporarily not be subject to this requirement.
