The KDW330 portable melting thermometer adopts an integrated design of thermometer and temperature gun. Based on the harsh working environment and high temperature of the melting temperature measurement site, it adopts a shock resistant and high brightness LED digital display and a fully metal shell design, making it more durable.
This instrument has:
1. The temperature value is automatically maintained during temperature measurement.
2. The function of synchronously indicating the end of temperature measurement (lifting the test gun) through lighting and buzzing sounds.
3. Alarm functions such as disconnection, over range, and power undervoltage.
4. The power supply adopts nickel hydrogen rechargeable batteries (which can generally measure temperature thousands of times after one charge).

4、 Installation and operation
- Installation of test gun:
Open the packaging box, take out three sections of the test gun, hold the fixed copper head section with your hand, and rotate them one by one to avoid twisting the compensating wire and breaking the welding. After tightening, there should be no shaking sensation.
Carefully connect the two core plug inside the gun barrel to the same type of two core plug inside the connection sleeve on the portable melting thermometer (make sure to plug the signal plug into the socket completely), then insert the test gun into the connection sleeve and tighten it with a stop screw.
2. Operation of portable melting thermometer
Press the power switch (ON/OFF) on the instrument panel, and the display immediately shows "", followed by the display of the required thermocouple model (/S type,/R type,/B type,/WRe3/25,/K type)
When the thermocouple is not plugged in, the instrument displays "". When the thermocouple is plugged in and in good contact, the instrument displays the ambient temperature (the instrument with the B division mark displays ""), and temperature measurement can be performed at this time. Insert the thermocouple into the molten metal at a depth of ≥ 20mm during temperature measurement, ensuring fast, accurate, and stable operation. When the indicator light (H) is on (with sound and light prompts), the thermometer should be immediately lifted (usually for 3-5 seconds). The instrument automatically displays and maintains the measured temperature value.
Replace the used thermocouple and insert a new one (even if it is not damaged, it should be removed, paused, and reinserted into the test gun) to perform temperature measurement again.
The instrument displays "-1", indicating that the thermocouple is not plugged in or not properly inserted. Gently push or rotate the paper tube to ensure good contact.
The instrument displays "-000" and the input signal is reversed.
The instrument display shows that the input signal of "1" exceeds the range.
The instrument display "HELP" indicates that the battery is under voltage.
After the instrument measurement is completed, it should be turned off in a timely manner to avoid battery waste.
