The purpose of this standard is to eliminate lead 、cadmium、hexavalent chromium、Polybrominated biphenylsThere are 6 substances in total, including polybrominated diphenyl ethers, and it is emphasized that the lead content cannot exceed 0.1%.

On July 1, 2011, ROHS 2.0 (2011/65/EU) was officially published in the EU Official Journal and will come into effect 20 days later

Rohs2.0The original six controlled substances: lead (Pb), (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr VI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) have been changed to ten controlled substances, with the addition of di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), toluene butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (referred to as Phthalate 4P). The ten controlled substances are controlled at 0.1% and 0.01% respectively.
