In the application of air quality monitoring, the dust sensor PM1003 has been operating stably in many customer products and has won wide recognition for its high precision and reliability. With consumers' increasing concern for health and air quality, a single dust parameter can no longer meet the monitoring needs of complex indoor environments.
Newly launched AM1003
Dual dimensional monitoring, seamless upgrade
To this end, Sifang Optoelectronics has launched the AM1003 integrated air quality sensor, which is designed to be compact, fully functional, and has flexible interfaces. With excellent performance and high cost-effectiveness, it helps customers respond quickly to market demands.
01 Monitoring is more comprehensive, with dual dimensional perception safeguarding respiratory health!
On the basis of dust sensor PM1003, VOC concentration monitoring has been added, which can synchronously output dust and VOC data. With just a 'lightweight upgrade', the product can easily evolve from 'single dust monitoring' to 'integrated air quality monitoring'.

02 Upgrade without resistance, zero modification and easy replacement!
In terminal devices such as air purifiers, air quality sensors are usually installed in the air inlet or duct structure, which is often related to the airflow design and filter layout of the entire machine. Therefore, once the appearance shape of the sensor is fixed, it is difficult to adjust later. The structural design of AM1003 is consistent with that of PM1003, eliminating the need for additional modifications to the air ducts or installation positions of the entire machine, and eliminating the complex process of re molding and adjusting the structure.

No need for structural adjustment → one-to-one direct replacement
Shorten R&D cycle → Accelerate product iteration
Reduce development costs → Save R&D, manpower, and mold investment
Based on the existing PM1003 product solution, it is possible to switch to AM1003 with zero modifications. Customers can quickly supplement VOC detection functions, reduce upgrade risks and time costs, and accelerate product iteration.
Why VOC
From 'optional' to 'mandatory'
Since July this year, news of VOC exceeding standards has frequently appeared on hot searches, attracting widespread public attention. In fact, VOCs are closer to daily life than we imagine. Decorative panels, furniture, wallpaper, coatings, adhesives, and even some phone cases and toys can all become sources of VOC emissions.

VOCs have strong concealment but are closely related to health. Common VOCs include benzene, toluene, xylene, etc. Prolonged exposure to excessive levels can pose multiple health threats
Low concentration hazards
Increased risk of headaches, fatigue, allergies, and asthma
High concentration hazards
Damage to liver, kidney, brain, and nervous system, even leading to convulsions and coma
Long term harm
Benzene derivatives such as benzene, toluene, and xylene have been proven to be associated with the risk of cancer and leukemia

Therefore, VOC monitoring is gradually shifting from being a "bonus point" in the past to a "basic configuration" in air quality monitoring products. AM1003 combines dust and VOC monitoring functions to help customers continuously enhance their market competitiveness with minimal upgrade costs.
Upgrade of air quality protection in all scenarios
In the face of increasingly complex indoor air pollution environments, issues such as pet hair, dander particles, and pet odors are becoming new pain points for users and differentiated selling points for products, based on VOC and PM. In the future, we will continue to deeply cultivate air quality sensing technology, and through more accurate sensing and intelligent monitoring, help to truly solve air problems in various scenarios such as pet homes, children's rooms, and office buildings.
