On November 23rd, Zhang Dawei, an academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, assisted Shanghai Zhengfei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. in its development and served as the company's chief scientist. Academician Zhang will establish a joint laboratory between Shanghai University of Technology and Shanghai Zhengfei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. to provide professional technical guidance for the company's projects such as ultraviolet imaging and infrared spectroscopy, and help cultivate innovative talents. The two sides will deepen cooperation in the field of optical detection equipment and empower Zhengfei Technology to transform and upgrade.

Director and Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering, Senior Member of IEEE, Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, National Thousand Talents Program, Young and Middle aged Innovation Leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Shanghai Young Science and Technology Talents, Shanghai Dawn Scholars, and Shanghai Science and Technology Rising Stars. Currently serving as the Director of the Optical Instruments and Systems Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, Director of the Shanghai Extreme Optics Manufacturing and Testing Engineering Research Center, and Executive Vice Dean of the School of Optoelectronics at Shanghai University of Technology; My research direction is precision optical components and optoelectronic instruments. I have published over 100 SCI indexed papers in related fields and have won 5 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, including the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of Ministry of Education Technology Invention Award. Serving as a member of the 3rd National Optoelectronic Measurement Standardization Technical Committee and the 6th National Optical and Photonics Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC103). Elected as a member of the Russian Academy of Engineering on April 20, 2022.
