In October 2018, Shanghai Langshan Optical Instrument Co., Ltd. and German OPTOCRAFT company officially signed an exclusive agency agreement and authorization certificate for ophthalmic lens testing instruments in China. Mr. Chen Zhong, General Manager of Langshan Optics, and Dr. Johannes Pfund, General Manager of OPTOCRAFT, signed the cooperation agreement, which means that Langshan Optics has officially started selling OPTOCRAFT's ophthalmic lens testing instruments in China.

Regarding the Schalke Hartmann Measurement Principle

In 1904, Johannes Hartmann proposed that the imaging quality of an optical system can be evaluated by placing a cover plate with an array of small holes in the optical path and observing the imaging points of these holes. Later, Roland Shack developed this technology by replacing these small holes with microlenses, improving light efficiency, and pioneering the use of digital technology for automatic wavefront evaluation.

The basic principle of the two is the same: the local inclination angle of the wavefront on the microlens array will cause distortion of the spot array. Each light spot deviates from its own optical axis of the microlens according to the direction of the light rays. Therefore, the position of the light spot and the wavefront tilt angle correspond one-to-one, and the set of all measurement points can be reconstructed mathematically to reconstruct the wavefront.
