Dr. Jiang Xiaoping donates research equipment to the Institute of Metals

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Metals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jiang Xiaoping, the head of MTI Kejing Group, who had obtained a doctorate in the Institute of Metals, donated four sets of self-developed and produced material research equipment to the Biomedical Materials and Devices Research Group of the Materials and Devices Research Department of the Institute of Metals, including: sliding PE-CVD tubular furnace (product), three temperature zone tubular heat treatment furnace, diamond low-speed cutting machine, and automatic pressure metallographic polishing machine. Dr. Yang Ke, Director of the Device Research Department, accepted the donated equipment on behalf of the research group and signed an agreement with Dr. Jiang Xiaoping on June 4th to jointly establish a "Joint Laboratory for Surface Modification of Biomaterials" between the Institute of Metals and MTI Kejing Group in the United States. Dr. Jiang Xiaoping's former supervisor, Academician Hu Zhuangqi, and Deputy Director of the Technology Department of the Institute of Metals, Wang Zhongliang, attended the signing ceremony.
