1. The water production of the pure water machine decreases
① The water production decreases, and the lower the temperature, the greater the decrease in water flow rate. Due to the influence of temperature on water viscosity, the water production of reverse osmosis membranes will decrease. Usually, for every 1 ℃ decrease in water temperature, the water production of reverse osmosis membranes decreases by 3%. The water production in winter is about 50% of that in summer.
② As the amount of wastewater increases, the flow rate of wastewater will correspondingly increase due to the decrease in water production, resulting in an increase in the wastewater ratio. This is a normal phenomenon. After the temperature rises, the amount of wastewater will decrease and the flow rate of water production will increase.
The above phenomenon is mainly related to the characteristics of the membrane. The elasticity coefficient of the membrane decreases in winter, and under the same pressure, the water permeability will naturally decrease.
2. Anti freezing is more important for outdoor machines
Due to the fact that most parts of the north have heating systems that can ensure indoor temperature, if water purification equipment is installed outdoors or when there is no heating in the south, if the temperature drops below zero in winter, the machine will be stopped. Without anti freezing measures, it may cause the filter bottles, membrane shells, etc. to freeze and crack. If it belongs to indoor, it is necessary to ensure that the indoor temperature is above zero degrees. Because water freezes below zero degrees, once it freezes, the water will expand, which can easily damage the pure water machine.
3. Treatment methods after icing
If the Chinese pure water machine freezes, it should not be forcibly turned on to produce water, in order to avoid unnecessary damage to the machine. The correct approach is to place the machine in an environment with a temperature higher than 8 degrees Celsius for natural thawing. During the thawing process, it cannot be used. After 48 hours of thawing, it must be checked for water leakage when turned on for use. If there is any water leakage, you should promptly provide after-sales service for the product.
4. Operation when no longer in use for a long time
If not in use for a long time or if you need to go out, you must close the inlet ball valve and drain all the water in the pressure tank. Before using it again, check the appearance of the machine to ensure that it is normal. Only after confirming that it is normal can you connect the water source and power supply. It is also recommended to discharge the water in the tank.
