What is the maintenance cycle for anaerobic tanks
Date: 2025-11-20Read: 1
Anaerobic incubator(also known as anaerobic workstation or anaerobic glove box) is a specialized device for bacterial cultivation and experimental operations in an anaerobic environment, widely used in microbiology research and industrial testing fields. Its core function is to maintain a constant temperature, humidity control, and strict anaerobic environment through mechanical convection and positive pressure design, avoiding anaerobic organisms from being deactivated by contact with oxygen.
The anaerobic chamber and the operating chamber are independent of each other, located at the back of the operating chamber, and can hold 300 standard culture dishes in an independent (cultivation space). In addition to being less prone to sample confusion and conducive to sample distribution and cultivation, it is also not affected by the ambient temperature during operation. This increases the comfort of the operator and provides users with a wider visual space.
Precautions for use:
Installation environment: It should be placed in a location with a small temperature difference and easy operation, avoiding direct sunlight and staying away from heating equipment.
Gas replacement process: Multiple replacements of nitrogen and mixed gases are required to ensure that the operating room reaches an oxygen free state
Regular maintenance: It is necessary to check the airtightness and replace the deoxidizer to maintain long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Daily inspection and maintenance:
Daily inspection: It is necessary to monitor the water level of the water seal device and constant pressure device, inject water in a timely manner to maintain constant pressure, and check whether the pipelines, valves, heating devices, etc. are abnormal.
Monthly cleaning: It is recommended to conduct a deep cleaning of the outer surface of the instrument and the interior of the box once a month to remove impurities and extend its service life.
Regular verification and in-depth maintenance:
Temperature verification: The temperature of the box needs to be checked annually to ensure temperature uniformity does not exceed ± 1 ℃, and the indication error does not exceed ± 1% at the experimental temperature.
Oxygen sensor calibration: If the equipment is equipped with an oxygen content detector, portable devices need to be calibrated every 3 months, and fixed devices should not exceed 6 months.
System overhaul: It is recommended to thoroughly empty, clean, and maintain anaerobic fermentation tanks (similar equipment) every 3-5 years, and they should be operated by professional personnel.
