Principle and Application of Dust Detector
Date: 2017-12-21Read: 2
Dust detectors are mainly used to detect the concentration of dust in the environment. Currently, people have increasingly high requirements for living, working, and living environments, and the sales volume of this instrument has also increased sharply. This industry is also being valued by more and more people.
Dust DetectorThe working principle of is mainly based on microcomputer laser principle and electrostatic induction principle.
Microcomputer laser principle:
When light shines on suspended particles in the air, scattered light is generated. Under certain conditions of particle properties, the scattered light intensity of particles is proportional to their mass concentration. Dust detectors measure the scattered light intensity and apply the mass concentration conversion coefficient K to obtain the mass concentration of particles.
Principle of electrostatic induction:
Utilize the dynamic charge induction between dust particles passing through the probe to generate a signal. The communication electrostatic technology determines the disturbance amount of the AC signal by monitoring the standard deviation of the charge signal, and determines the dust emission amount based on the magnitude of the instantaneous disturbance amount.
1. Applicable to the determination of dust concentration in production sites of labor departments in industrial and mining enterprises
2. Monitoring of inhalable particulate matter in public places of health and epidemic prevention stations
3. Environmental protection monitoring department conducts atmospheric dust detection and pollution source investigation
4. Municipal tobacco monitoring
5. On site testing of instrument science research, filter performance testing, and other aspects
6. On site dust concentration measurement and exhaust dust concentration monitoring
7. Drug manufacturing testing
8. Occupational health and safety testing
9. Management of manufacturing processes such as precision instruments, testing instruments, electronic components, food, and pharmaceuticals in areas where clean air is required by the factory
10. Various research institutions, meteorology, public health, industrial labor hygiene engineering, air pollution research, etc
11. Dust detection at construction or blasting sites; Exposure monitoring at construction sites
12. Indoor air quality testing
