The air floating granite platform is a high-precision working platform based on air floating technology, mainly used for high-precision measurement, precision mechanical positioning, and scientific research fields. Its core is to achieve frictionless motion by forming a stable gas film layer through compressed air, which has the characteristics of high precision, low wear, and strong load-bearing capacity.
The air floating granite platform forms a stable gas film layer with a thickness of 10-15 μ m at the bottom of the platform through compressed air, and achieves frictionless suspension motion using the principle of air bearings. The support system consists of a multi airbag nozzle array, which is dynamically adjusted by a vacuum pump to achieve micrometer level displacement positioning accuracy (up to 0.01mm level movement step size) on the platform in six degrees of freedom. This design eliminates the wear problem of traditional mechanical bearings and improves displacement accuracy by more than 30% compared to traditional cast iron platforms.
Main functions and applications
High precision motion control: By adjusting the air pressure through the air flotation module, micrometer level displacement accuracy is formed, which is suitable for microgravity simulation, precision measurement and other scenarios. For example, the detection accuracy of accelerator magnetic field distribution can reach 0.01T
Stable support and protection: Made of natural granite/marble material, with uniform texture and low water absorption rate, surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m, able to withstand loads of more than 4 tons, and detection accuracy of micrometer level in constant temperature environment (such as 20 ℃).
Multi axis linkage control: equipped with a linear motor transmission system, supporting X/Y/Z axis and rotation axis linkage, achieving micrometer level step size adjustment (0.01mm level), suitable for testing complex mechanical structures.
Operation steps and maintenance
Calibration and debugging: Before use, flatness calibration is required to ensure that the splicing gap is less than 0.01mm, and the stability of the platform is adjusted through the air pressure control system.
Daily cleaning: Wipe the surface of the platform with a dust-free cloth, and immediately treat it with a pH neutral cleaner after contact with acidic or alkaline substances to avoid corrosion pits.
Regular maintenance: Surface waxing treatment is carried out every six months, and stone protection agent is used for maintenance to extend the service life of the platform.
Load management: Avoid long-term overload use, and the unevenness of the load per square meter should not exceed 150kg to prevent damage to the lattice structure.
