Pre treatment methods for soil bottles
Date: 2025-08-26Read: 20
Soil bottleThe pre-treatment method for soil samples, if referring to the process of bottling soil samples for subsequent analysis, usually involves multiple steps, including coarse screening, freeze-drying, grinding, sieving, and sample loading. The following is a detailed soil sample pretreatment and bottling process:
1. Coarse screening:
Remove foreign objects such as gravel and plant roots from the sample.
2. Freeze drying:
Place the pre frozen samples in a freeze dryer for freeze-drying treatment, which generally takes 72 hours.
3. Grinding:
Take multiple samples (such as five) from the same point and weigh them separately.
Weigh each sample separately by subtracting a certain amount (e.g. 30g, up to 200g) from the mass of the smaller sample, and mix them in a container.
Crush the mixed sample and stir it up and down to mix well.
Use a grinder to grind the mixed sample and the remaining individual samples separately.
4. Screening:
Pay attention to the quality loss during each screening process. If it exceeds the limit, the screening instrument will not be applicable.
5. Sample installation:
Mixed sample packaging:
+Use a sampling instrument with multiple sampling holes. If the number of sampling holes exceeds the required quantity (for example, if the sampling instrument has 8 sampling holes but only 4 bottles need to be loaded), it is necessary to block some of the sampling holes with tin foil or other materials in advance.
+Install a blue cap bottle of appropriate capacity (such as 250ml) at the unobstructed hole.
+Open the sampling device, take an appropriate amount of mixed sample from a stainless steel cup and slowly pour it into the injection port until all the mixed sample is poured in.
+Turn off the sample analyzer and remove the label seal from the sample bottle.
Sample assembly:
+After grinding each remaining sample with a grinder, put them into blue cap bottles of appropriate capacity (such as 100ml). Fill one bottle of each sample and discard the excess.
+Label and seal.
If“Soil bottleThe "pre-treatment method" refers to the pre-treatment of the soil bottle itself, which usually includes steps such as cleaning, drying, sterilization, etc., to ensure that the bottle is clean and uncontaminated, suitable for storage and analysis of soil samples. The specific preprocessing steps may vary depending on experimental requirements and bottle materials.
Please note that soil pretreatment methods may vary depending on factors such as experimental purposes, soil types, and analytical equipment. In practical operation, appropriate preprocessing methods should be selected according to specific situations, and relevant experimental procedures and safety operating standards should be followed.
